Low-Emissivity glass is manufactured by deposing a coating of metal oxides on the glass' surface.

Low-Emissivity I.G.Units are obtained by combining a Low-E glass sheet, assembled inside the building, with any other type of sheet. Low-E I.G.Units provides thermal during winter (it significantly reduces heat loss) as well as during summer (it prevents heat from getting inside). The comfort degree is this way very high. At a temperature -10°C at exterior and +20°C at interior, there will be a +17°C temperature on the internal surface of the Low-E thermo-insulating glass.

The applicability area of the Low-E thermo-insulating glass is extremely large: greenhouses, residential and commercial buildings, curtain walls etc.
